Mark grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia before making Boston his home. At age 5, he started piano lessons and discovered a natural inclination for music. Soon after, the radio caught his ear; Top 40 was the medium that consistently drove his interest in songwriting. This growing passion lead him to study at Berklee College of Music.

Mark has played at every major venue in Boston. As head pianist at Quincy Market, he accompanied many legendary songwriters, including Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, and Billy Joel. He performed his songs with local artists at nearly every venue in Boston and New England. These songs have always provoked the same response, both from the performers and the audience: “These songs should be on the radio.”

Mark has now taken the time to catalog the hundreds of songs he’s written over the years, while continuing to write new ones, and has started to showcase them for other artists to record. Mark grew up with an ear to radio in an era of singer-songwriters, leading him to establish a career performing in smoky bars, piano rooms, and famous venues around Boston, Atlantic City and Las Vegas. For him, music is all about storytelling. He has always been drawn to the song.
